the update
I just got a price on repairing my camera of 300 bucks and its really pissed me off.. and i still dont have it back yet.
i have been documenting as best i can with robs camera but its just terrible.. and i have no time for editing the footage at the moment either, i have been going through what i have here and im going to try bring you all up to speed on this build.
at the moment i cant get a hold of my plumber the back up plumber or any of thier plumber friends.. some very sad stories involving plumbers at the moment.. we have a broken toe, a holiday to europe, a M.I.A. and one fella who has just got cronic fatique from working too hard... never the less i have half a bathroom and a pending demolition on the only working one...
o yea and if anyone has a line on a replacement sistern lid for a high efficiency mansfield loo... you know who to call
similar scene on the electrical front im waiting 9 weeks for my pot lights to be installed properly, it has become a joke at this stage but i have eventually got a new guy, who is as i speak hooking me up in the basement... still light on dilevery of a water seal pot light for the shower and a couple of other bits ... its not looking like it will be a finished job just yet...
looks like ill be on the phone all next week too..

saturday afternoon.
the good stuff, after spending 6 weeks plastering and sanding and plastering and sanding and yea .. plastering and sanding, we had Danny Browne in here for a month doin a bit of sanding and plastering too..
(destant for great things, but doesn't want to talk about it)
we are now gettin there, picking up the flooring and underlay, letting it sit in the space for a couple of days to get used to its new home, we got our first glimpse of a finished project..
we make it look easy!

kitchens
here is our basic idea of what we want from the kitchen,
the kitchen is such an important part of any house we need to make it perfect.
what we have done is flushed out the exterior wall, hiding our duct work and also down sizing the original window to create more usable counter space.
we are plumbing the island to put the kitchen sink in the center of the house giving you a view to every room yet keeping the sink somewhat hidden.

ok.. really sorry about the lack of posts now..
my camera has packed it in unfortunatly, and i havent got around to fixing it..
i have danny browne over here at the moment helping with the work, hes a great plasterer.. and thats good cause we have been doing so much of that shit over the last few weeks that i think i will have to avoid it for the rest of my life..
the basement has all the duct work running along the ceiling and i have been driven demented mudding and taping all the little corners.. millions and milloins of them... (on that note canadiand laugh if you ask for hundreds and thousands on an ice cream!)... they call them sprinkles.. lame!
any way after 5 weeks or so of sanding and plasterin g we are getting close to paint in the basement.. the kitchen is closed in and im preparing for the kitchen cabnets and all that..
its getting there.. its just taking a long time and a lot of work..
